SAP Passport and certificate prompts

The SAP passport is a really useful feature, however due to standard browser security settings it will simply replace all those frustrating repetitive credential prompts with slightly less annoying certificate confirmation prompts.

Google Chrome on MS Windows

Follow this blog to configure local policy for Chrome.

Internet Explorer on MS Windows

Within Internet options, security tab add the following sites into a relevant zone (Trusted Sites) 

*.sap.corp

*.sap.com

*sap-ag.de

custom level for this zone and locate the setting Don't prompt for client certificate selection when no certificates or only one certificate exists, and click the Enable radio button.
