I am using a Dell laptop running Windows 7, my docking station connects to two LG 24" monitors via DVI cables. I have been noticing fragments of desktop applications remaining on the screen, if I hover a desktop application over the top then this 'wipes the fragments away'
I updated to the latest video card drivers on the Dell web-site, checked refresh rate etc and the issue persists.
After some research I have found the culprit!
Navigate to Advanced System Settings (Control Panel\System and Security\System)
Select settings within the performance area
Select custom
Uncheck the following:
Fade out menu items after clicking
Boom - no more nasty window fragments!

SAP Passport and certificate prompts
The SAP passport is a really useful feature, however due to standard browser security settings it will simply replace all those frustrating repetitive credential prompts with slightly less annoying certificate confirmation prompts.
You can overcome this issue by adjusting your web browser security settings...

Follow this blog to configure local policy for Chrome.
Internet Explorer on MS Windows
Within Internet options, security tab add the following sites into a relevant zone (Trusted Sites)
*.sap.corp
*.sap.com
*sap-ag.de
